Technology magazine enters Cycle Tour
Popular Mechanics has teamed up with the MTN Sciencentre to design a futuristic entry for Sunday's Argus Pick 'n Pay Cycle Tour. The 'trike', encased in a high-tech carbon-fibre shell designed to smooth airflow and reduce drag, has an unusual configuration for a three-wheeler - two wheels in the front and one at the back, with a low seat slung between them. The trike will be ridden by veteran cyclist Nicholas George, who hopes to cross the finish line with the frontrunners.
