Hansie Strikes Back

Hansie Cronje's attorneys lodged a complaint with the ASA against a MOD Homes print advertisement that featured him with a heading "News Flash, Mike also plays cricket, but he doesn’t cheat!" and the pay-off line "A liar & a cheat," saying that the ad was "prejudicial, inappropriate and distinctly unsavoury."
The ASA Directorate has accepted that MOD Homes has withdrawn the advert and will not use it again.
