    A Progressive acquisition

    Edition Publishers has announced the acquisition of the 2003 Pica award winning business-to-business retailing magazine, Progressive Retailing, as well as the annual Progressive Trends, from Primedia Publishing. Edition publishers, which publish rival Retail Edition, also received the Highly Commended Award at the PICA's. While Retail Edition will continue to focus on the top-end of the market, down to the Petrol Station Forecourts, with more of a marketing slant - including: branding issues, research, labour, retail support, FMCG launches and new products - Progressive Retailing will be revamped and relaunched in March 2004 to focusing more on chain stores, including FMCG brands, hardware, white and brown goods.
