Local short film wins Jury Prize at Milan Film Festival

Black Sushi, directed by Dean Blumberg, has been awarded the special Jury Prize at the 14th Milan African Film Festival. The prize consisted of the acquisition of the home video distribution rights in Italy of an African short film. Since the film's win at the Apollo Film Festival in 2003 it has been screened at over twenty festivals worldwide and was the Bluefire International - Best International Short Film Runner-up at the Kinofilm, 8th Manchester International Short Film Festival.
