New African image library

Online publisher RedInk Publishing’s new photo image library, www.redimages.co.za, contains high quality, royalty-free, stock images available from as little as R20.00 per download. Says co-owner Belinda Nelson, “Until now, South African image libraries – some with great pictures – cost the earth. We’re in this to provide low cost, quality pictures which are easy to download for the designer who’s creating a brochure, a website, an ad campaign – and needs a quick pic. We’re also in this to give local photographers a platform from which they can get sold. We pay a 40% commission to the photographer each time his/her pic is downloaded.”
