Wine as art
Wine has been used as paint in a campaign conceptualised by Riot for its client Tokara, a multiple award-winning winery owned by banker GT Ferreira. As part of the first annual Wine Made Art event, the Stellenbosch winery commissioned artists, including Mary Visser, Gabby Raaf, Dorothee van der Osten, David Jackson and Piet Grobelaar, to create works of art inspired by their wines and which use the wines as a medium. The artworks are on display at the winery and six of the works will be used in Tokara's print advertisements and other promotional materials.
