Upward Globility TV series highlights land ownership in South Africa

A new international web TV series Upward Globility, which focuses on the Free Market Foundation's (FMF) Khaya Lam project in South Africa whose main objective is to assist previously dispossessed families to acquire title to their homes and land, was launched globally on 1 June.

The series, produced by Atlas Network in the USA, focuses on stories of the NPO's partners that strive to create prosperity for all through the support of local opportunities for entrepreneurship, education, and community growth. "Upward Globility is all about great stories that show that dignity, respect, and opportunity are the tools that create a freer, more prosperous, and more peaceful world for everyone," said Atlas Network vice president of communications Melissa Mann.

The FMF has been fighting for all South Africans' property rights through its Khaya Lam land reform project, which is supported by donations and sponsorships. "Property ownership brings dignity and financial security to people who've never had it before - and Free Market Foundation is helping to make that possible," said Temba Nolutshungu, the director of the Free Market Foundation.
