SA radio stations give voice to campaign
Radio stations across South Africa are reported to have been unanimous in their support of The Sunflower Fund National Bandana Day when approached to flight 30-second ads pro bono. Mark Bayly, host of the M-Net's Survivor South Africa, joined forces with leukaemia survivor Debi Schuiling to record a radio advertisement at Pick ‘n Pay's in-house radio station, Fresh FM. As ambassadors of hope for the campaign, they encourage the public to purchase their bandana from Pick ‘n Pay for only R15.00 and wear it on The Sunflower Fund National Bandana Day, 21 September 2007.
