Absa - best retail bank in SA

Absa bank has been declared 'Best Retail Bank in South Africa' by Euromoney Magazine in its 2005 awards list. The key factors in scooping the prize were the bank's efforts to bring banking products to the previously unbanked and under-banked section of the market, its expansion into Africa as well as the Barclays deal.
