Facebook launches video chat for Messenger
The Messenger app is about to get more interactive as Facebook launches online video chat. An app update on Monday, 27 April, revealed the little camera button to get more personal with your buddies. The update is only coming to 18 markets for now (SA isn't on the list yet), but countries who are getting the new feature include the UK, Mexico, Portugal, Ireland, Greece, the US and more.
According to Mashable, this is Facebook's ice-breaking feature into the live video world, taking the hint from video streaming apps like Meerkat and Twitter's Periscope.
