M&C Saatchi parts with Philips Cellular as part of worldwide alignment

M&C Saatchi has announced that Philips Cellular Division is no longer a client, having appointed the agency earlier in February, as it has since been discovered that the international agency of record is DDB. Comments Nina Morris, MD of M&C Saatchi: "Naturally, this is very disappointing for us but we respect international relationships between clients and agencies and would honour those accordingly." She added that it was a mystery why the business even went out to pitch in 2001 given the international links that Philips have with DDB.
