    ABB facility to host Automation and Power World Africa

    JOHANNESBURG: ABB's Longmeadow green office building and factory will host Automation and Power World Africa from 11 - 12 November 2009. The facility, which began its phased-in move from June 2009, will be inaugurated by ABB Group CEO, Joe Hogan on the final day of the event.

    Long meadow, a green building, incorporating the latest ABB technology, comprises ABB South Africa's head office, manufacturing and logistics centres.

    Automation and Power World will host presentations and workshops for the African market focused on the latest technologies and solutions for utilities and industry to increase energy efficiency and raise productivity in slower markets. The 2400m2 conference and exhibition of products, services and technology accommodates about 750 delegates. Presentations have been accredited by the South African Institute of Electrical Engineering (SAIEE).
