Silverstreet expands into Africa
CAPE TOWN: Silverstreet, the Netherlands-based mobile messaging and payments carrier, today, 8 March 2010 announced the appointment of James Bayhack as its business development manager. Bayhack will spearhead it's South African-based expansion into Africa from Cape Town.
“Africa fits perfectly in our strategy to open local offices in emerging and developing markets, and I expect a substantial contribution from this new business unit in our overall company performance,” says Silverstreet chief commercial officer, Simon Landsheer.
Bayhack's extensive mobile knowledge as well as ten years experience in the telecommunications industry is expected to compliment the existing Silverstreet presence in Europe, Asia, Australia and the Middle East.
