Etisalat becomes victim of hoax emailers

Middle East and Africa mobile network services provider, Etisalat, has become the latest mobile company to fall victim to the activities of hoax emailers.

The company said that unknown culprits where circulating emails requesting Etisalat customers to change their passwords. An unspecified number of customers had received the hoax messages. It is believed that the hoaxers plan to use information gathered from the company's customers for fraudulent purposes.
