Celtel to change brand name to Zain in Africa too

Celtel, mobile phone provider that operates in 14 sub-Saharan African countries, has also selected Nairobi as the headquarters of its African operations with new offices coming up on Riverside Drive, Westlands.

The firm's chief operations officer for East Africa and Middle East, Bashar Arafeh, told The East African that Africa is to get a unified brand after a successful re-branding in the Middle East.
