Omnifone has unveiled a new subscription-based music download service called "MusicStation" for mobile phone users in several European countries, and Africa could also benefit soon.

The company expects to offer the service in the near future in Asia-Pacific markets, Africa and elsewhere in Europe. Omnifone indicated that it isn't planning to target the North American market.
