"Journalists play a critical role in spreading the news and informing their readers about new products, technologies and trends. The winners of these prestigious annual Awards will be announced at a gala ceremony to be held in Kampala, Uganda on 29 May 2010 marking it the fifteenth anniversary of these awards. Over the past fifteen years, the competition has grown in size and status to become one of Africa's most prestigious media events.
