    AfricaCom 2012 to focus on digital in Africa

    AfricaCom 2012 is celebrating innovation in today's digital Africa. The keynote sessions are expected to gather the most influential companies and individuals in the industry. The conference is set to take place from 13-15 November at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC), South Africa, under the theme 'Reaching the Next Frontier for Growth'.

    Industry players will share their views on how to promote new services and business models. From large operators to content providers, alternative players, solutions providers, applications developers and more. Visionaries from all sides of the business will give their perspective on digital Africa.

    Entrepreneurs Incubator Hub

    In addition to AfricaCom 2012, a brand new session will promote the importance of ICT start-ups across the continent: the Entrepreneurs Incubator Hub will bring together investors, incubators and entrepreneurs to discuss the best strategies to promote start-ups in Africa's telecommunications, media and ICT sector.

    The programme will be filled with presentations, case studies, interactive panel discussion and networking opportunities withh the idea is to get people talking, swapping ideas and inspired to start successful businesses.

    What to expect...

    The session is supported by the Silicon Cape Initiative and includes speakers from Umbono/Google, Knife Capital, iHub Kenya, HumanIPO, Rorotika, The Indigo Trust and CTIC Senegal.

    Over the three days, the programme will also cover topics related to network evolution, mobile broadband, customer experience management, content and apps, handsets and smart devices, social media, regulation, cost-efficiency and more.

    AfricaCom 2012 will also cover a host of hot topics over three days, from network deployment to mobile money, customer experience management, convergence, cloud services, investment, entrepreneurship, broadcasting, app development and more.
