Last chance to register for Highway Africa 2015
The closing date for online registration for Highway Africa 2015 is 15 August 2015. The conference will be held from 30-21 August under the theme 'Journalism and the City', which will explore the relationship of journalism and place, specifically the dialectic relationship between media narratives and the city.
Pre-conference there will be a Data Journalism Workshop from 26-28 August and a meeting of TAEF and SANEF on 29 August.
Highway Africa is an annual conference run by Rhodes University's School of Journalism and Media Studies in partnership with corporate South Africa, donor partners and journalistic associations. Founded in 1997, the conference focuses on the issues arising from the interface of journalism, media and technology (internet and mobile-related).
