Top 10 telecoms predictions for 2012
At the time of year when everyone looks back on the highs and lows of the previous year and wonders what the coming year holds, the editorial team at Africa Telecoms magazine and website have drawn up a list of companies they consider will be the top ten performers, or at least the ones to watch, in the telecoms sector in 2012.
The third annual 'Africa Telecoms Magazine Top Ten Companies in the Telecom sector' list makes for some interesting reading. Bradley Shaw, managing editor at Africa Telecoms makes the point, "The common denominator for 2012 is that the majority are Africa focused; they demonstrate a keen understanding this continent's particular idiosyncrasies, opportunities and attendant challenges".
This knowledge alone should serve as a groundwork from which to entrench future growth for these organisations; this list may well provide industry and business analysts as well as everyone with an interest in the growing industry sector in the world with some food for thought.
