EMEA represents 40% of Infor's worldwide revenue and there are currently 400 channel partners in the region, 260 of which are authorised to sell, implement and support Infor solutions. Infor's customer base in sub-Saharan Africa currently stands at 600.

Hermann Stehlik, vice president extended solutions: EMEA, said that the current recession has changed the business landscape for good and this new environment calls for innovation and choice. Stehlik says that if businesses don't recognise and understand what software can help them to achieve today, they will not succeed.

"Our software is focused on the business requirements of our customers. We know that every serious CIO has an ERP system. But, today's business environment demands more and agile businesses demand more IT solutions. They also need support for their differentiating business processes and networks and, importantly, a lower total cost of ownership. Infor's core advantage and heritage lies in its enormous skills base of people to develop, implement and support our world-class solutions."
