Pentawards 2010 now open
BRUSSELS: The 2010 Pentawards, the online competition exclusively for packaging design, official opened for entries yesterday, Monday, 5 April 2010 until the deadline date of 21 May. The awards ceremony will be presented on 30 September in the European Pavilion of the Expo Shanghai 2010.
Packaging designers, brand owners, packaging suppliers worldwide may enter their best creations in 44 categories divided into the five major sectors of Food, Beverages, Body, Other Markets and Luxury.
An international jury composed of 12 professionals from packaging design and its chairman will awards the Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum Pentawards. The best of the show will be awarded the Diamond Pentaward.
Registration is now open online for all packaging, or line of packaging, created or placed on the market since 1 January 2009, anywhere in the world.
Entry fee per creation submitted in a category:
- Early bird - from 5 April to 16 April 2010 - €150
- Full registration - 17 April to 14 May 2010 - €195
- Last chance - from 15 May to 21 May 2010 - €225
