    Ukhozi FM ready for 2010

With the SABC being the official broadcaster of the FIFA 2010 World Cup, the programming content on Ukhozi FM will mainly focus on this to ensure information delivery and listener awareness of the tournament. As from 1 May 2010, the station will play 100% African music (85% South African and 15% will be from other African countries).

Acting Station Manager, Bonga Mpanza says, “Ukhozi FM continues to up the game in as far as on-air delivery to ensure that the mandate of the organisation is met. Stay on board and enjoy the ride.”

He was commenting on the new lineup of shows as on-air presenters go solo and some move to other slots to show their broadcasting abilities. The new lineup meets the station's programming strategy and mandate, which is to inform, educate and entertain.
