    IPM hosts 53rd African convention

    The Institute of People Management (IPM) will be hosting its annual African convention from 1 - 4 November 2009 at Sun City, Johannesburg, South Africa. The theme of the convention is: "Business leadership for the new reality".

    The convention aims to provide an interactive platform to business leaders and solution providers to discuss and find industry specific solutions to the current global economic crisis and business challenges. "IPM is committed to human capital development and currently one of the best way deal with to the economic situation is to focus on business leadership, skills and talent development," says Elijah Litheko, CEO of IPM.

    Local and international speakers (from Boston Consulting Group) will be addressing delegates on various topics such as technology as an enabler, the changing complexities and uncertainty and business sustainability. Some of the local speakers will include Shirley Zinn from Nedbank and Charlotte Mokoena from Telkom.
