Ahead of the A1 Grand Prix held in Durban this past weekend, East Coast Radio’s Bokomo Big Breakfast show hosted the first South African Shopping Trolley Grand Prix outside East Coast Radio House in Umhlanga last week. Seven teams from major supermarkets took to the track with branded trolleys, each containing R2000 worth of non-perishable items all going towards Winter Warmth, the station’s annual corporate social responsibility initiative, launching in May 2007.
