VALUE4HER to upskill women in agribusiness

The Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation (CTA) alongside the Africa Women Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum (AWIEF) and the African Women in Agribusiness Network (AWAN) launched a new empowerment project aimed at providing female entrepreneurs in the agricultural sector with the skills and know-how to successfully run their businesses. The project is aimed at addressing the challenges women in agribusiness face, which ranges from access to markets and market intelligence, access to finance and other business services, and the technical, management and leadership skills.

Women-led agribusinesses are encouraged to register to become part of the first intelligence network targeting women-led agribusinesses in Africa. The registered agribusinesses will also qualify to participate in the project's activities, including training and the chance to apply for a competitive grant.
