Alliance Banking appoints new head

“Alliance Banking has become central to the Access Bank strategy, and we have seen significant growth in market opportunities for this specialised service. Part of our growth strategy is the introduction of new skills and proficiency,” says the bank.
Reporting directly to SA CEO, Chrisanthi Michaelides, Rabe joins the team from Sasfin Bank, where she garnered significant experience in building new alliance partnerships.
“A seasoned banking executive with a strong innovation mindset, Rabe has developed banking product and divisions from grass roots level to sizeable businesses, and has a wealth of banking, payments, lending, legal and commercial experience to head up Alliance Business as we grow capacity to serve this sector,” says Michaelides.
“I look forward to building on Access Bank’s existing Alliance Banking competence, leveraging off new technologies and open banking frameworks to offer a superior service to our partners and clients in South Africa and across the continent.
“This is an exciting time for Access Bank customers and their clients as well as our partners,” says Rabe
