The show will host South African teachers who will make learning fun and fresh and brighten brains early in the morning to prepare learners for the school day ahead. Ya-Yebo-Yes produces the show for SABC Education.

"The show delivers core curriculum concepts across six subjects to grade 10-12 learners in Mzansi and gets them equipped with knowledge to ace their exams at the end of the year. The show brings cool back to school by providing sound advice on life skills and a positive attitude," explains Fani Matsebane, commissioning editor at SABC Education.

    Facebook tutoring service

The show highlights classroom camaraderie, deals with the difficulties learners face in their final schooling years and features a tutoring service on Facebook where learners can ask questions and interact directly with teachers. The Facebook service is available weekdays between 6-7am.

Vukile Madlala, publicity manager at SABC 1 says, "The show will also go on a national tour, visiting various high schools across all nine provinces. Each day a different school is featured and its young, presenters, Amanda Manku and Nonhlanhla Ntuli, get the scoop on what is happening at various schools and communities countrywide. It brings the classroom to lounges where viewers can test their knowledge in the interactive games on offer and see which team comes out tops."
