More than 20,000 fans flocked to the 2014 DSTV Delicious International Food & Music Festival presented by Nedbank at Emmarentia last year, making it one of the biggest lifestyle events on the food and music calendar.
This June it returns to Johannesburg with an even bigger focus on food. As Festival Director Lloyd Cornwall says: "If it's got something to do with the kitchen then it's got something to do with Delicious.'
Expanding this year from food, drink and demos to include kitchen hardware, utensils and ingredients, the organisers have just opened bookings for the food and kitchen emporium, including sponsorship opportunities.
Says Cornwall: "The festival has clearly shown that there's a massive opportunity to offer a lifestyle event where people can shop and eat in a incredible setting to the backdrop of the great music.
We had 20,000 high-end consumers through our doors last year along with some blue-chip brands in the food business including big media brands like BBC Lifestyle and Food Network."
"Customers are clearly saying that they're looking for food experiences outside of sterile convention type environments. We can tailor and customise any experience for potential sponsors and exhibitors," adds Cornwall, advising them to move quickly to secure space.
International artists alongside top South African musicians will once again headline the festival with the line up being announced in April.
The DStv Delicious International Food and Music Festival presented by Nedbank, is held in proud association with Ticketpro, NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto, Castle Milk Stout, Kaya FM and Mitsubishi Motors.
