    RetailTech Forum 2013 attracts top retailers

    The Retail Technology (RetailTech) Forum has attracted 30 plus retail groups whose 10,000 retail outlets cover convenience and petroleum, clothing and footwear, grocery, electrical and homeware, building materials and textiles, financials, pharmacy and beauty.
    RetailTech Forum 2013 attracts top retailers

    RetailTech brings together heads of IT from all the major retailers alongside providers of retail solutions and technology for one-and-a-half days of pre-matched appointments, conference sessions and informal networking.

    One of the key focuses this year for the retailers is e-commerce and included in the line-up of those with online responsibility is Trevor Voss, head of technology online from Woolworths; Mike Cotterell, head of online from Pick n Pay; and Simon Laver, department manager, omni-channel at The Foschini Group.

    Newcomers to the event include the South African Post Office, Edcon, Boxers Superstores, Build It, Picardi Rebel Liquors, Robinson Liquors, SteinBuild, Spur Steak Ranches and Nando's. These companies sit alongside Shoprite, Clicks Group, SPAR Group, Pepkor IT, The Lewis Group, HomeChoice, Cape Union Mart and more.
