Put the Future on the Agenda
Why Futures Thinking Belongs at every Monday morning meeting
Our organisations may be good at solving today’s problems but are we making space to think clearly about the decisions that will shape tomorrow? Not just prepare for tomorrow, but actually shape it?
There is a way to respond to the uncertainty and disruption we are frustrated by. Strategic Foresight, or Futures Thinking, is a leadership capability and vitality important to develop in people and organisations who want to remain relevant in the future. It helps teams spot blindspots, question old assumptions, discard methods that no longer work, and make better choices with the future in mind. And it is also far less complicated than many people think.
In this session, I will explore why futures thinking belongs in the boardroom, in the team meeting, and on your personal agenda. We will look at why it matters for leaders and senior teams, and how organisations can begin building more intentional, future-fit habits without turning it into a grand or overwhelming exercise.
This webinar is for leaders, senior team members, HR and strategy professionals, and anyone responsible for shaping direction in a changing world. It will be especially relevant for organisations across South Africa, Africa, and Asia that want to strengthen relevance, resilience, and long-term thinking.
You will leave with:
- A clearer understanding of what strategic foresight is.
- A practical view of why it matters now.
- Ideas for how to bring futures thinking into everyday leadership conversations.
- A fresh way to think about agency, intention, and organisational relevance.
- And a short decision model of how to add futures thinking to every meeting and decision.
If you are ready to move beyond short-term panic and make the future part of the conversation, I would love for you to join me.
Register now and bring a colleague who helps shape strategy, people, or planning.
