Whilst holding various qualifications, Amanda has never done a formal marketing degree, yet believes that honest values, common sense, charm and micro-awareness of others and oneself, has allowed her to make a success of everything she ventures into including being a media owner and content publisher.
Moving from hospitality through to Events and Pr, Amanda found herself creating a blog to empower new and expectant parents, during her own pregnancy stages, which drew a huge following and garnered brand interest and opportunities moving BabyYumYum from a personal blog to a digital portal which has many community engagement platforms with a combined total of over 650 000 members.
Amanda's businesses also include a digital maternity and family health and wellness division as well as an app development agency.
Amanda also acknowledges and views unsuccessful business ventures as stepping stones to success.
Connecting people using technology and being local and relevant is always the focus of every business stream that she engages with.
