Having worked for Barloworld Logistics for the past 13 years, Temple was divisional director of Dedicated Transport Services before taking on the new position. “The new appointment is both exciting and challenging as I will be entering the freight forwarding industry at a very interesting time. I will be working hard to fully integrate this division, including the people and systems, into Barloworld Logistics' solution offerings,” said Temple.
Since the company's recent international acquisitions in the freight forwarding industry, the Freight Forwarding division has entered an expansive global growth phase.
“The division will certainly be developing opportunities through our expanded network in the Far East and Dubai, which is focused on sea-air cargo shipment, and we are well set to play a pivotal role in connecting key emerging markets to developed markets in Western Europe,” said Temple.
