Following rave reviews and a sold-out inaugural show last year, Billy Monama’s Mayibuye iAfrika Concert returns this year on 24 and 25 May for an extended show featuring a legendary musical line-up including Ringo Madlingozi, Sipho 'Hotstix' Mabuse, Mahotella Queens, Hope Masike, Simphiwe Dana and Siphokazi.
The second edition of this popular concert, slated for the Joburg Theatre, commemorates 30 years of South African democracy and will showcase artists joining forces to engage in a reflective journey through the power of song and an exploration of South Africa's progress over the past three decades.
