Hope For Ahana
Baby Ahana was diagnosed with stage 4 high-risk neuroblastoma, a rare form of childhood cancer, at just 19 months old. Her short life so far has included three cycles of chemo-immunotherapy. While she is doing well, her battle is far from over — she still needs to travel to the United States for life-saving treatment, with R4 million standing between her and the chance of survival she deserves.
At the iZulu Theatre on Saturday, 17 May 2025, a cast of performers will entertain audiences in a fundraiser for Baby Ahana. On the lineup are singer Shashika Mooruth, all the way from India; Eastern entertainment specialist and singer Preetesh Singh; the legendary Saraswathi Shainaaz Band with singers Shasha, Rameez, Shabnum, Zubair and Rajan; and a dance performance by Vande Mataram Productions. The event will be emceed by radio personality Zakia Ahmed Siddiqui.
