Creators Hub Online Summit returns on 23-24 April 2026 with African voices, practical insight, and real talk for creators
[Gqeberha, South Africa], [18 April 2026] — The Creators Hub Online Summit will take place online on 23-24 April 2026, bringing together creators and industry voices from South Africa and Kenya for two days of practical sessions on content, growth, burnout, podcasting, collaboration, brand work, and authenticity.
This year's summit has a new name, and it speaks to where content creation is right now. The speaker lineup covers the topics creators are thinking about every day, including UGC, podcasting, working with brands, building authority, staying motivated, and knowing your worth beyond the numbers.
The event has a strong African focus. Most speakers are from South Africa, with Lakeisha Mugo and Awino Awiti joining from Kenya. Their voices add a wider regional view to the program, especially as more creators across Africa build businesses, communities, and long-term careers online.
User Generated Content is one of the key themes. Nick Duncan from Lit will present data-backed insight drawn from the 20,000 creators on the platform. His session will look at the difference between UGC and influencer content, and how creators can use both in smart ways.
Also on the UGC topic, Lakeisha Mugo of UGC Creator Circle will join live on Zoom on 23 April. Based in Kenya, she is focused on building and training UGC creators in both Kenya and South Africa after working in the industry overseas. Her session adds a strong regional perspective, along with a clear vision for growing an African UGC empire.
Podcasting will also have a place on the schedule. Sean Loots brings both practical advice and personal perspective through his podcast, "Something Shifted," where he speaks to people who have experienced major life changes. His talk will give attendees steps they can use to move from idea to action.
Motivation and burnout are also front and center. Bernadene Oosthuizen, known as @your_motivationalcoach, will speak about how the right rooms can help grow your social media. Her session looks at the value of community, connection, and putting yourself in spaces that help you grow.
Alongside her, Alethea Ross, @her_mindset_mentor, will tackle burnout and how creators can find their motivation again. Both speakers speak on how to keep going when the pressure starts to wear you down.
The summit also makes space for honest conversations about self-worth and staying true to your voice. Terrance Mentor, well-known as @afrodaddyct, will speak about goals beyond the numbers and the risk of tying your value to views, likes, or follower counts.
Rebecca Badrodin from @inthesestilettos will talk about being real in a curated world. Her session looks at authenticity with boundaries, because being open online does not mean giving full access. She also speaks to the tension many creators feel between posting what performs well and protecting their own voice.
Collaboration and brand work are another major part of the program. Eleanor Douglas-Meyers from 041Online will share advice on working with fellow creators and brands, while also telling the story of how her platform grew after she was hacked. Samantha Curley-Young from Captive Conversations will offer insight into what brands want, shaped by her background in both blogging and public relations.
Awino Awiti will speak about small steps that lead to big growth. Her message is clear: creators do not need to wait until everything is perfect to begin. Heather Step will round out the summit with a session on blogging for authority, focused on building your own space online and showing brands who you are when they search for you.
The summit runs across two days, and each batch of speakers will be free to access for 24 hours. Attendees can also upgrade to get the recordings.
