He joins in August as Group ECD after spending the last few years at Gloo and more recently Gloo@Ogilvy as ECD.
"Adam is an award-winning, talented creative who has played a major role in the success of the agencies he's been a part of. We're very excited to have someone with his experience and insight join our team as we continue our journey of building brand love in the digital space," said CEO and co-founder of Gorilla, Jordan Wallace.
Adam will be based out of Gorilla's Durban office but will oversee work across Gorilla's Johannesburg, Sub-Saharan, and Australasian clients too.
Adam explains his move like this: "I truly believe an 'agency' is made up crucially of its people and I happen to love Gorilla's work and like-mindedness. We speak the same language and have the same dreams. It was a no-brainer and love at first chat. Sharing a DNA is hard to find. Gorilla isn't partial to the traditional label 'Ad Agency' and I concur; we're a bunch of thinkers sharing a space and each other's ideas. Various talents spice up the conversation and challenge the status quo. 'Bravery' here is never whispered, it's chanted."
If you're in Durban and you spot a guy wobbling on a surfboard in the next few months, give him a wave - it could be Adam.
