Leading private education company seeks research specialist A leading private education provider in South Africa is seeking to employ a marketing researcher at their head office in Pinetown. The research position will be based in the central marketing division, and will be responsible for driving research across its various brands in the educational landscape. Job requirements:
- A relevant post-graduate degree with a substantial component on research methodology
- Experience in qualitative and quantitative research techniques
- Two-three years solid research experience
- Independent worker with a high level of initiative
- Problem solving and critical thinking ability
- Excellent report writing skills
- Good organisational skills
- Good communication skills
- Good time management skills
- Good listening skills
- Good presentation skills
- The ability to network and liaise across stakeholders
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to take initiative and make decisions
- Ability to relate to people at all levels
- Good computer skills (Word processing, Spreadsheets, Presentation, Email)
- Is able to absorb rapidly and apply effectively, new information as required.
Job function:
- Conceptualising and designing research projects
- Qualitative and quantitative research and data analysis
- Conducting personal and group interviews
- Interpreting research results
- Preparing graphs, tables, reports and summarising research results
