Lobola goes mobile

Lobola has gone mobile and not everyone is happy. The issue? A new mobile app that takes the African tradition of paying a bride price into the technological age... In Africa's most populous nation, Nigeria, Google has launched an online portal for the 2015 elections. The company has announced it launched an online portal where voters can keep an eye on the latest news about Nigerian politics in the run-up to the general elections in February. Back in SA, Gustav Goosen looks at the big online advertising trends for 2015. He reckons that, as always, it was a highly competitive space but this year that seemed the case more than ever. Finally, we all know how important it is to nurture new talent - which is why the new strategic partnership between the Independent Agency Search and Selection Company (IAS) and the IMM Graduate School of Marketing (IMM) is so important. The more potential marketers know about the course, the better it is.
