We're looking for an Account Executive to join our Gauteng team. In this role, you'll manage and grow a portfolio of commercial insurance clients, identify new business opportunities, provide expert insurance advice, and build strong partnerships with clients, insurers, and internal stakeholders.

• RE5 and relevant short-term insurance qualifications

• Manage and grow an existing client portfolio
• Identify cross-sell, upsell, and new business opportunities
• Deliver tailored insurance solutions and expert advice
• Collaborate with insurers, underwriters, and claims teams to ensure exceptional service

 Qualifications. training and regulatory requirements:

 Minimum requirements

• Recognised short-term insurance qualification
• Completed RE5 certification
• Up-to-date product specific training for commercial and personal lines
• Completed class of business training for commercial and personal lines
• Up-to-date CPD compliance

Preferred / advantageous:

• Additional specialist commercial insurance training
• Experience with directly related personal lines business
• Proven success in new business generation, portfolio retention, and portfolio growth
• Strong relationships with insurers, underwriters, and market stakeholders
• Advanced technical knowledge of commercial products, underwriting, and claims environment 

Experience requirement:

• Minimum five (5) years’ experience in the short-term insurance industry
• Minimum three (3) years in an Account Executive or similar client-facing broking role
• Experience servicing and growing a portfolio of commercial insurance clients
