New game lodge open in Welgevonden Game Reserve

A new safari lodge, Mhondoro, has opened in the malaria-free, Big 5 Welgevonden Game Reserve in the Waterberg, Limpopo province. This exclusive lodge is child-friendly and sleeps a total of 20 guests.

It includes a private Villa that can accommodate six guests, a honeymoon suite, two-bedroom executive suite and a two-bedroom family suite.

Other unique features include a waterhole with an underground hide that is connected with the main lodge by a tunnel; a custom-built Stardeck and state-of-the-art telescope for stargazing and three heated swimming pools. Dutch-owned and managed, Mhondoro is a fusion of African chic and edgy European influences.
