Get digital at AfricaCom 2012AfricaCom, reportedly the largest communications conference and exhibition on the continent with the gathering of over 5 000 telecoms decision-makers and key players, takes place next week from 13-15 November 2012 in Cape Town, South Africa. Under the theme 'Reaching the Next Frontier for Growth', the three-day conference will focus on the future of digital in Africa. In addition to AfricaCom 2012, a brand new session will promote the importance of ICT start-ups across the continent: the Entrepreneurs Incubator Hub will bring together investors, incubators and entrepreneurs to discuss the best strategies to promote start-ups in Africa's telecommunications, media and ICT sector. As part of the conference, the AfricaCom Awards will acknowledge the growth and importance of the telecoms and digital sectors across the African continent. View the shortlist.
