My name is Sharifa Sitoto and I am an Honours Marketing Management Graduate. Currently seeking new career opportunities and building professional work relationships. My eager to learn personality combined with my academic, theoretical background and sharp mind are great characteristics needed to add value in an organization and personal growth. My philosophy is "Baby Steps and Thorough Learning" equals to effective goal targeting. I am goal driven and believe on setting goals and reaching them timely. I have interest in Marketing Management, Brand Management, Public Relationships and Communications.
Currently, this year since the 26th of March 2018 I have been involved in an internship programme with the Technology Innovation Agency (TIA). This programme has taught me the various concepts and procedures involved in the technology innovation process. The one I have identified with primarily is the process of Commercialization of technological products and ideas. My marketing qualification also, fits in the commercialization of products and the ideation process. I am currently hosted by a company called Quickloc8, they develop Apps for the transport industry. Here my role is to review the product, I'm also involved in the ideation and Product development process, CRM (Customer Relations Management), Strategic Brand marketing, as well as Sales. On the 1st of October 2018, I got accepted at the Department of Economic Development and Tourism, (Graduate Programme). I was in the Enterprise Development Unit. This is where, I learned about data capturing, business funding, and SMME development. Furthermore, I learned general administrative work within the government space, and general government processes.
I completed my BA degree in 2016, I then further studied a BCOM Honours Marketing Management post graduate degree in 2017, and this is where I gained a great amount of knowledge about marketing strategies, strategic branding and advanced planning at corporate level. Thus, these two degrees have resulted in a well- balanced qualification of commerce and humanities. This has equipped me with the necessary knowledge of brand management, communications, strategic marketing and planning.
