The New York Forum Africa

The New York Forum Africa, takes place 8 - 10 June 2012, in Libreville, Gabon.

The New York Forum was launched in 2010 in collaboration with The New York Times, the Boston Consulting Group, the Partnership for New York City and the China Alliance. After producing the Davos Forum and co-founding the Clinton Global Initiative, the NYF was created on a set of simple convictions: the need to reinvent business models, the obligation to encourage public-private partnerships to find new growth, create new jobs, and spur more innovation.

The New York Forum Institute is a non-profit organisation dedicated to affecting sustainable economic improvements in the global community by promoting dialogue, partnerships and public/private cooperation.

We are so pleased that many iconic global business and civic leaders will be joining us in Gabon, including: Chairman and CEO of Maroc Telecom Abdeslam Ahizoune, Economist and Founder of Planet Finance Jacques Attali, World Bank Chief Economist Shanta Devarajan, Microsoft Africa Chairman Cheick Modibo Diarra, Minister of Finance, Ivory Coast, Charles Koffi Diby, Famed Innovator Esther Dyson, GE Africa President Jay Ireland, Ronald Lauder, Famed Olympian Gold Medalist Carl Lewis, CITI Chairman Richard Parsons, Commissioner of the African Union Jean Ping, Tiosanno CEO Magatte Wade, Ambassador Andrew Young, and a delegation of over forty top Chinese CEO's.
