21st to 25th March 2022 Biopesticide for healthy and sustainable crop production
Introduction
Biopesticides refers to a pesticide which originates from natural materials such as animals, microorganisms, plants, bacteria, and certain minerals. In comparison with the conventional pesticides, biopesticides are less toxic, affect the target pest, they are effective in small quantities and decompose quickly. Furthermore, no destructive residue is left after a period of application of such a product. This makes biopesticedes the most environment-friendly approach in pest control management.
