How to deal with Climate Change Risk Management in Building Resilience to Mitigate Effects of Climat

This places emphasis on acting early and ensuring that systems are in place to deal with negative climate events. This 5 days course aim to achieve this objective by ensuring that participants acquire knowledge on climate change risk management strategies to mitigate effects of climate change.

FineResults Research Services would like to invite you to take part in our upcoming workshops on Agricultural courses at our FineResults Research Services training facilities in Nairobi, Kenya or online.
21st to 25th February 2022 Climate Change Risk Management in Building Resilience to Mitigate Effects of Climate Change
11th to 15th April 2022 Climate Change Risk Management in Building Resilience to Mitigate Effects of Climate Change
INTRODUCTION
Climate change and other environmental stresses have been a policy concern to many countries particularly in low and medium developed countries. Some of the impacts of climate change include drought and floods. Countries that are usually affected by drought and floods among other climate change risks rely on emergency assistance which is in most cases not sufficient due to limited resources in those countries. Furthermore, predictions of future climate change by the countries meteorological departments are sometimes uncertain, and the future impacts are difficult to predict. This places emphasis on acting early and ensuring that systems are in place to deal with negative climate events. This 5 days course aim to achieve this objective by ensuring that participants acquire knowledge on climate change risk management strategies to mitigate effects of climate change.
