DHL Global Forwarding strengthens Central, Southern Africa leadership teams

DHL Global Forwarding has made some major changes to its leadership teams in Central and Southern Africa to strengthens its market position.

For Central Africa, Veronique Ebenye Epangue will lead the DHL team in Cameroon, while Alassane Mare, CEO for DHL Global Forwarding Central Africa will take on the additional responsibility as country manager for Gabon. Epangue joined DPDHL Group over 20 years ago as a trainee at DHL Express and she was appointed DHL Global Forwarding sales executive in 2009 and head of sales and customer service in 2016. Mare has been with the DPDHL Group for almost two decades and in his new role at the company, he will be responsible for developing DHL's expertise in the mining, wood, and oil and gas industries in Central Africa.

For Southern Africa, Tidiane Diop and Shuvai Mugadza have been appointed to lead DHL in Mozambique and Zimbabwe respectively as country managers. Diop joined DHL Global Forwarding in April from the International Trade Center (ITC) and previously held positions at DHL Freight in Morocco the World Bank. Mugadza has over 15 years of FMCG experience and moved into the logistics industry in 2016. Prior to her current role, she was a head of sales and marketing at DHL Global Forwarding.
