Third annual Sustainable Seafood Fest taking place on 4&5 July at the V&A Waterfront

The V&A Waterfront's third annual Sustainable Seafood Fest returns to Makers Landing on 4 and 5 July, celebrating South Africa's rich seafood culture while encouraging more conscious ocean stewardship.

Visitors can explore a fresh fish market featuring local suppliers, enjoy chef-led cooking demonstrations, watch live hake-filleting displays, and engage with leading marine conservation organisations including WWF-SASSI and the Two Oceans Aquarium.

Adding to the culinary experience, acclaimed restaurant Terrarium(from the V&A Waterfront) will take over the Makers Landing Restaurant Residency space from 10am-4pm daily, while celebrated author and food storyteller Onezwa Mbola will host special dinner residency experiences across the weekend.

Families are well catered for with a dedicated Kids Zone featuring child minders, colouring activities, ocean mascots and family-friendly entertainment throughout the day.
