Apple launches the Xserve server

Not traditionally associated with the server environment, Apple Computer has launched Xserve, a new rack-mount server which the company claims will outperform almost all competing web servers by more than 60%. Although not intended for desktop applications, imagine running your Photoshop on a dual 1GHz PowerPC G4 with 2GB memory!
