www.htxt.co.za) is looking to add a new member to its editorial team.
As one of the country’s leading, independent, tech news publications, we are looking to hire a
Technology Journalist to complement our current mix of journalists.
Those interested in applying need to have a keen interest in technology within the South African context, and the ability to write daily about a number of different subjects, ranging from consumer electronics and telecommunications, to education and cybersecurity.
Prospective candidates also need to demonstrate a willingness to acquire new skills, as well as an aptitude to grow into a senior role within the editorial team.
Requirements for the position are as follows:
- A valid ID and passport (travel is a key part of the role),
- Own reliable transport,
- A tertiary qualification (does not need to be in journalism or media),
- Ability to work remotely or at an office when needed,
- Capable of writing technology news, reviews, interviews, and original features,
- An understanding of copywriting.
